In Lane County, access to our state’s natural beauty is central to our quality of life. Heather Buch is working to protect our environment, guard against natural disasters and polluters, and grow a clean energy economy that works for local families.

Under Heather’s leadership, Lane County created a Climate Action Plan shaped by community input. The plan focuses on preparing for climate impacts, creating good-paying green jobs, and supporting clean, local industries.

Heather has also supported partnerships to install electric vehicle charging stations at 22 county sites and has helped families upgrade their home heating systems and lower energy costs.

Looking ahead, Heather is working to reduce landfill emissions and modernize recycling programs, cutting long-term costs for residents while protecting our environment.
